Like I said.
I'm Jon.
And this is the page where I tell you (and Google) all about me.

All about Jon* in the fewest words possible.
I’m a writer by trade and a creative leader by evolution. For more than 20 years, I’ve helped organizations turn complicated business problems into clear brand stories, useful digital experiences and ideas people actually notice. Along the way, I’ve led teams, built integrated campaigns, redesigned major institutional websites, created branded games and experiences, won pitches and picked up a few awards. More importantly, I’ve become the person clients want—and enjoy—having in the room when the problem is still messy.
And yes. My t-shirt game is strong. Unless you’re talking to my teenage daughters.

I played with a lot of Lego as a kid. It's where I found my love for solving puzzles you can actually play with.

As you can see, my fourth grade teacher predicted all of this. Also, I can identify land and water and I try my best.

I learned about real music from my father. I learned about planetariums on my own.
I’m currently a Creative Director at Publicis, leading digital and performance marketing across every line of business on the Rogers account. I set the creative direction across acquisition, retention, brand and always-on work; partner with strategy, media, data and client teams; and help a large integrated group turn complex business priorities into clear, effective customer experiences.
Before Publicis, I was selected to lead and grow the first permanent Media.Monks outpost in Canada. Over almost three years, I oversaw a seven-person team of art directors, copywriters and designers producing work across film, virtual events, web design, branded content and metaverse/gaming.
Prior to Media.Monks, I spent more than seven years as the Creative Director responsible for digital output at Zulu Alpha Kilo. I conceived, actively worked on or led a diverse range of campaigns and institutional builds for clients including Audi Canada, Corona, Interac, ParticipACTION, CAMH and Bell Canada.
Before Zulu, I spent four and a half years at Proximity Canada, helping elevate the agency’s interactive and creative offering for clients including Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Alka-Seltzer, M&M’s, HP, Campbell’s and the Canadian Olympic Committee. I was also deeply involved in several new-business wins on both sides of the border, including a lead role on the winning Canadian Olympic Committee AOR pitch.
I also had long residencies at Tribal DDB and Cossette Interactive, working on blue-chip clients including General Motors, General Mills, McDonald’s, Bell, Nike, Labatt, Mott’s, Subaru, Gatorade and Energizer.

My work has been recognized nationally and internationally, including the Cannes Lions, ADC, LIAAs, Webby Awards, New York Festivals, IAB MIXX, CMA Awards, Strategy Marketing Awards, ADCC, and Cassies.
